Sarah is an Entrepreneur Partner helping aspiring entrepreneurs clarify what they want, and whether search is the right path. She also serves on the Board of Directors at Advanced Aircrew Academy.
Prior to joining Pacific Lake, Sarah was a searcher and operator herself. In 2018, she acquired Kantola Training Solutions (an award-winning harassment prevention and inclusion company) with her husband and business partner, Scott Mackenzie. As CEO, Sarah led a reimagined go-to-market strategy, built the company’s industry thought leadership, and helped drive the business to triple ARR over a 5-year period while championing an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Before Kantola, Sarah spent a decade in Uganda building and operating renewable power and telecom businesses. She attended Trinity College Dublin and holds an MBA from Stanford. Sarah lives in Mill Valley with Scott, their two teenage sons, and two cats. They’re currently writing a novel together and have a well-worn habit of saying “yes” to the next adventure.
