John Kreider
Entrepreneur in Residence
John teams with entrepreneurs after they buy a business. As a member of the value creation team, he rolls up his sleeves to make the company stronger than it was at acquisition.
John grew up in the backwoods of Alaska, where he got his first taste of entrepreneurship working alongside his father collecting and selling wild Alaskan fungus. Years later, he traded the outdoors for the office, first as a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, then as a growth equity investor at KSV Global. At KSV, he also served as Chief of Staff at The Perfumery, a role that grew into a full-time position as Director of Business Strategy, where he led projects on sales, pricing, inventory rationalization, and financing. John received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BS in Genetics and Biotechnology from Brigham Young University.

My favorite quote is...

My favorite travel spot is...
San Diego. My wife and I were the first in both our families to graduate college, and we celebrated with our first vacation there together.
